A Slot Antenna Array With Reconfigurable RCS Using Liquid Absorber

This paper presents a slot antenna array with reconfigurable radar cross section (RCS). The system is formed by combining liquid absorber 2*2 array. consists of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) container, 45% ethanol layer, and metal ground,which attached to the surface incident wave can be absorbed rather than reflected in other directions when PMMA container filled ethanol, which reduces monostatic bistatic RCS. Thus RCS changed injecting extracting while antenna's radiation performance terms bandwidth, patterns gain well sustained. In complex communication system, this used switch between detection stealth mode. mechanism investigated. simulated results show that has reduction bands from 2.0 GHz 18.0 GHz, maximum 35 dB an average 13.28 dB. operating band 100 MHz. Without realized 12.1 dBi, it drops 2 lossy injected. measured agree ones.
